Dr. Li received his BS degree from Tsinghua University in 2007 and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering in University of California, Los Angeles in the USA in 2012 with the guidance of Prof. Yu Huang. He joined China University of Petroleum in Beijing and then joined School of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) as a porfessor in 2016.
Dr. Li's research interests are mainly focused on the synthesis of nanoscale crystals, including the noble-metal-based nanostructures and lead halide perovskite-type nanocrystals for the electrochemical energy conversion and storage, and has published more than 60 papers in journals such as Nature Chemistry, Nature Communication, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Advanced Materials, etc., which received total citations of 4200. He also serves as reviewers of international journals, such as Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Nano Energy, etc. Dr Li has undertaken the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing Science and Technology Plan, Key Technology Research and Development of Enterprises, etc.
