Dr. Qi Chen, Professor, Dean, Advanced Research Institute Of Multidisciplinary Sciences, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). He received his BS/MS at Tsinghua University in 2005 and 2007, Ph.D. in University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2012. Then he joined California NanoSystem of Institute at UCLA as a postdoc. He joined BIT in 2016.

He is working on developing new hybrid materials for energy applications, with the major focus on solar cells and detectors. To date, he has published over 100 papers and received the total citation of 30000 and H-index of 65. Among all papers he published, 24 are listed as ESI highly-cited papers, and one of which has been cited over 4000 times.
